About the Critical Care Unit
Our modern 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) provides specialist care for patients with complex and life-threatening conditions.

Your Role as a Critical Care Nurse
As a Critical Care Staff Nurse, you will be at the forefront of delivering advanced, patient-centred care in a high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate complex patient care
- Monitor critically ill patients using advanced clinical skills
- Work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain high standards of safety, care quality, and documentation
- Support and mentor junior staff where appropriate
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
