The Senior Professional Nurse – Day Ward plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality patient care within a clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
The Senior Professional Nurse ensures safe, evidence-based patient care by identifying clinical risks and adhering to healthcare quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Patient Experience Management
A strong focus is placed on delivering a positive patient experience, ensuring comfort, dignity, and effective communication throughout the care journey.
Staff Management & Mentorship

Required Qualifications
Essential Education
- Professional Nurse qualification
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (required for specialized units such as perioperative care)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hospital nursing experience
- At least 1 year of mentoring or supervisory experience
