About Falmer Ward & Mill View Hospital
Falmer Ward is a 20-bed mixed acute mental health ward, part of a wider hospital that includes five wards and a dedicated place of safety. Together, we provide comprehensive care for individuals experiencing acute mental health needs.

Your Role as a Staff Nurse
As a Staff Nurse in an acute mental health setting, you will play a key role in supporting patients through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care
- Build therapeutic relationships that support recovery
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to care planning and risk assessment
- Support quality improvement initiatives and service development
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff
