Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Beacon Day Unit, supporting the safe and effective delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) for oncology and haematology patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective SACT treatments in line with clinical guidelines
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care for oncology and haematology patients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Engage patients and families in care decisions, promoting involvement and understanding
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical needs appropriately
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
  • Uphold the unit’s philosophy of compassionate and evidence-based care

Skills & Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid professional registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
  • Willingness to develop specialist skills in oncology and SACT
