Key Responsibilities
Delivering Excellence in Patient Care
In Long-Term Care Settings
- Provide safe, ethical, and compassionate clinical nursing care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer and document prescribed medications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes
In Home Care Settings
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes
- Administer IV therapies and dialysis support
- Provide palliative care and emotional support
- Perform phlebotomy and advanced wound care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
Qualifications & Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- Active license (or eligibility) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
- Strong foundation in patient care and healthcare delivery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
