About the Role

What Does a Registered Nurse Do in This Position?

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care across acute care settings. You’ll use your expertise in clinical nursing, critical thinking, and patient advocacy to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapies
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond proactively to changes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
  • Support discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications & Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
  • Strong foundation in clinical nursing practice and patient safety
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
