The Opportunity
Forest Grove Retirement Living, located in Durack, Queensland, is one of the largest retirement communities in the region. Surrounded by 34 hectares of green space and home to more than 600 residents, the village offers a peaceful and vibrant lifestyle for retirees.
The Forest Grove team is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the community on a permanent part-time basis. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working closely with residents, building strong relationships with families, and collaborating with a dedicated care team.
Working Schedule
- Permanent Part-Time Position
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM
- Opportunity to take additional shifts when other team members are on leave

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse at Forest Grove Retirement Living, you will play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality person-centred care to residents
- Ensuring services are provided in accordance with individual care plans
- Managing and monitoring medication administration
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Coordinating with external healthcare providers supporting residents
- Responding to first-aid emergencies within the retirement village
- Maintaining high standards of care and professional communication
What You Will Bring
Aveo is looking for a compassionate and reliable nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA Division 1 registration
- Valid CPR certification
- Current Police Check clearance (Aveo can assist with this if needed)
- Two COVID-19 vaccinations
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in community care, aged care, or retirement living
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A dependable and trustworthy approach to care
- A positive attitude and ability to collaborate with others
