Where You’ll Be Working

This role is based at a welcoming care home in Gloucestershire, where residents receive tailored support in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Position: Part-Time (30 hours per week)
  • Shift Pattern: Day shifts, including alternate weekends
  • Working Hours: Flexible between 7:15 AM – 8:45 PM

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care. You’ll support and guide care staff while delivering clinical excellence and maintaining high standards across the home.

This role offers a balance of clinical responsibility, team leadership, and meaningful resident interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Care Duties

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to individual care plans
  • Administer and record medications safely in line with policies
  • Monitor residents’ health, nutrition, and hydration
  • Identify risks such as pressure ulcers and respond appropriately
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and social workers
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Advocate for residents’ wellbeing and dignity

Team Leadership

  • Motivate, mentor, and support care staff
  • Promote a positive and professional working environment
  • Participate in and encourage resident activities and engagement

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dedicated nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and supporting others.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN (no restrictions)
  • Right to work in the UK (minimum 12 months validity)
  • Evidence of recent clinical CPD

Desirable

  • Experience in a care home or residential setting (not essential)
