About the Role
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality workplace health services, supporting organisations to maintain safe, healthy, and productive environments.
Working from modern clinics in Byron Street or Addington, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while also engaging directly with clients across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting occupational health assessments and clinical evaluations
- Providing clear, actionable feedback to clients and employers
- Maintaining accurate patient records and timely reporting
- Managing scheduling, equipment, and clinical systems efficiently
- Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Supporting service growth by identifying new opportunities
You may also contribute to specialised programs, including:
- Social rehabilitation
- Concussion management
- Vocational rehabilitation
Note: This role involves regional travel to support client needs.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and compassionate registered nurse with a strong background in occupational health nursing.
Key Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NZ Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organised with effective time management
- Knowledge of workplace health & safety regulations and privacy laws
- Comfortable using digital clinical systems and tools
- Full NZ driver’s license
Key Skills & Expertise
To succeed in this Occupational Health Nurse role, you should bring:
- Expertise in employee health screening
- Experience in injury prevention and workplace safety
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
