Qualifications and Eligibility

Education

Substitution Options

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year of Registered Nurse experience, or
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, or
  • Equivalent U.S. Armed Forces nursing service experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Candidates must have:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • A valid Maryland driver’s license if the role requires travel.
  • Availability to be contacted by phone when required.
