About the Role
Lake Imaging is seeking a Medical Imaging Nurse for a 12-month fixed-term position. In this role, you will support radiologists and healthcare teams in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during imaging procedures
- Prepare and admit patients for examinations such as Ultrasound, CT, and MRI
- Perform IV cannulation where required
- Assist radiologists and clinical teams during procedures
- Support advanced imaging services such as cardiac stress testing and specialised CT procedures
- Monitor patient wellbeing before, during, and after imaging procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced nurse who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- IV Cannulation qualification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Desirable Experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Previous experience in radiology, surgical, or acute care settings
- Flexibility to assist with overtime when required
