About the Role

Lake Imaging is seeking a Medical Imaging Nurse for a 12-month fixed-term position. In this role, you will support radiologists and healthcare teams in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care during imaging procedures
  • Prepare and admit patients for examinations such as Ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Perform IV cannulation where required
  • Assist radiologists and clinical teams during procedures
  • Support advanced imaging services such as cardiac stress testing and specialised CT procedures
  • Monitor patient wellbeing before, during, and after imaging procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced nurse who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • IV Cannulation qualification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Desirable Experience

  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Previous experience in radiology, surgical, or acute care settings
  • Flexibility to assist with overtime when required
