About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing Urgent Care team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care—triaging, assessing, and delivering timely clinical support in a fast-paced environment.

Working alongside Urgent Care Medical Practitioners, you will ensure patients receive the right care at the right time while building your expertise in a dynamic and evolving healthcare model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely patient triage as the first point of contact
  • Assess, prioritise, and respond to patient needs with clinical confidence
  • Identify and escalate deteriorating or emergency cases
  • Deliver hands-on care, including wound management, suturing, and plastering
  • Collaborate with doctors, patients, and families to provide patient-centred care
  • Educate patients to support better health outcomes
  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by following health and safety protocols

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-moving clinical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional care.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including one of the following:
    • Emergency Department
    • Triage
    • ICU / CCU
    • Rural or remote nursing
  • Strong ability to assess and respond to patient deterioration
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
