Job Overview

• Position: Travel Nurse RN – Dialysis

• Schedule: 35–36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts

This position offers a structured weekday schedule, making it ideal for nurses seeking work-life balance while gaining valuable outpatient dialysis experience.

Dialysis RN Responsibilities

As a Travel Dialysis RN, you will primarily work in an outpatient dialysis clinic setting. Approximately 95% of care is provided in the outpatient unit, with occasional one-to-one dialysis treatment for admitted patients if needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe and effective dialysis treatments
• Monitoring patient responses during procedures
• Documenting care using CKG Time EMR
• Operating Braun Dialog dialysis machines
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Providing patient education and support

Schedule Details

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Three 11-hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
• Typical shift times: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (based on patient census)
• No weekends required
• No holidays unless they fall on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday
• Mandatory monthly staff meeting (approximately 2 hours, typically on Tuesday)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of dialysis experience (required)
• Experience with Braun Dialog dialysis machines preferred
• Familiarity with CKG Time EMR
