Your Role as a Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital leadership role in delivering high-quality patient care while guiding and supporting healthcare teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient-centered care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments safely
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient health
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor LPNs and care assistants
  • Support staff training and onboarding
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Patient & Family Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with residents and families
  • Provide regular updates and compassionate communication
  • Encourage participation in therapy and recreational activities

Qualifications & Skills Required

We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who combines clinical expertise with empathy and leadership.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Active registration with a recognized nursing authority
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Valid CPR & Emergency First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills (Assets)

  • Experience in palliative care, dementia care, or foot care
  • Venipuncture certification
  • Knowledge of senior care and long-term care environments
  • Multilingual abilities (considered an advantage)
