Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital leadership role in delivering high-quality patient care while guiding and supporting healthcare teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient-centered care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient health
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and care assistants
- Support staff training and onboarding
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Patient & Family Engagement
- Build strong relationships with residents and families
- Provide regular updates and compassionate communication
- Encourage participation in therapy and recreational activities
Qualifications & Skills Required
We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who combines clinical expertise with empathy and leadership.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Active registration with a recognized nursing authority
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Valid CPR & Emergency First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills (Assets)
- Experience in palliative care, dementia care, or foot care
- Venipuncture certification
- Knowledge of senior care and long-term care environments
- Multilingual abilities (considered an advantage)
