About the Role

Grampians Health is currently seeking Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join teams across the following locations:

  • Ararat
  • Ballarat
  • Dimboola
  • Edenhope
  • Horsham
  • Stawell

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients and residents across a variety of healthcare settings.

Nurses at Grampians Health work in modern facilities designed to support best practice healthcare, ensuring patients receive personalised care while maintaining dignity, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing compassionate care to patients across a range of clinical settings
  • Delivering holistic, resident-focused healthcare services
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
  • Communicating patient health updates with healthcare teams
  • Supporting positive patient outcomes through collaborative care planning
  • Participating in performance reviews and professional development programs
  • Maintaining accurate availability through the electronic rostering system
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and wellbeing

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical capability and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare.

Essential skills include:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Strong clinical knowledge relevant to your level of experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within healthcare teams
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Employment Conditions

Nursing positions at Grampians Health are paid according to the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreements (2024–2028).

Registered Nurse Grade 2:
$41.36 – $52.20 per hour

Midwife Grade 2:
$42.41 – $52.20 per hour

Enrolled Nurse Grade 2:
$36.59 – $38.93 per hour

Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2:
$36.10 – $46.38 per hour

Enrolled Psychiatric Nurse Level 2:
$35.27 – $36.84 per hour
