- Regional Allowance: $10 per hour (RN roles)

About the Facility
Victoria Park House is a warm, heritage-style aged care residence located in the heart of Kalgoorlie. The home supports 22 residents and offers a friendly, community-focused atmosphere for both residents and staff.
Its convenient location near Kalgoorlie Hospital, St Mary’s Catholic Church, Hannan Street, and the Goldfields Highway ensures residents remain connected to local services and community life.
Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse at Victoria Park House, you will lead small clinical teams while delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. Your role will involve coordinating care plans, supporting care staff, and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate healthcare tailored to their needs.
This position is ideal for nurses who want to strengthen their leadership skills while maintaining a strong focus on clinical excellence.
Work Schedule
This role operates on a rotating roster:
Week 1
- Monday – Thursday: 22:45 – 07:15
Week 2
- Monday – Thursday: 22:45 – 07:15
- Saturday – Sunday: 15:00 – 23:00

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Supervise and support staff delivering resident-focused care
- Assess residents’ health needs and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop personalised care plans with residents and families
- Ensure compliance with aged care legislation and policies
- Promote the organisation’s values in all aspects of service delivery
- Support a collaborative team environment that prioritises resident wellbeing
About You
The ideal candidate is a skilled and compassionate nurse with a commitment to improving the lives of elderly residents.
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound clinical judgement and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for delivering compassionate aged care
Experience in aged care is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is your dedication to providing respectful, high-quality care.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Knowledge of Commonwealth Aged Care Standards and Quality of Care principles
- Understanding of AN-ACC funding requirements
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
