The Pay-Per-Visit model offers flexibility and independence for nurses working in community health care.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse

In this role, the Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to clients in their homes and communities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this Registered Nurse position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Professional Requirements

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • CPR certification
  • Passion for community nursing and patient-centered care
  • Interest in evidence-informed clinical practice

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Updated immunization records
  • Clear criminal background and vulnerable sector checks
  • Availability for flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Because community nursing is active and hands-on, this role requires physical mobility, including walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting.
