Work in a State-of-the-Art Emergency Department
In 2024, Albury Wodonga Health opened a brand-new Emergency Department designed to support modern, patient-centred healthcare. The facility includes advanced medical technology and purpose-built spaces that enhance trauma-informed and innovative clinical care.
The upcoming expansion of the Short Stay Unit will further strengthen the hospital’s emergency services and create exciting opportunities for nurses seeking professional growth in emergency and critical care.

Professional Development and Training Opportunities
The Emergency & Critical Care division at AWH is known for its highly regarded training and development programs. These programs support healthcare professionals in building advanced clinical skills and progressing toward expert capability in emergency and critical care practice.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants interested in these opportunities should meet the following requirements:
- Current Nursing and/or Midwifery registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care (desirable)
- Valid working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)

- Salary and conditions: In accordance with the relevant State EBA or Award
