About the Role: Registered Nurse

Location: St Joseph’s Lifecare, Upper Hutt, Wellington
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time (32+ hours per week)
Shifts: AM, PM, Night, and Weekends

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will lead and support a team of caregivers, develop and monitor care plans, carry out clinical assessments, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and general practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor Caregivers to maintain a high standard of care
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans
  • Conduct clinical assessments and monitor resident wellbeing
  • Foster strong connections with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in achieving care excellence

Skills and Experience Required

  • Current New Zealand APC (Annual Practising Certificate)
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Genuine compassion and a positive, friendly attitude
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to health and safety procedures
