Job Description
As a Registered Nurse within our medical imaging clinics, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting radiologists, technologists, and the broader healthcare team.
You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, applying clinical knowledge and critical thinking to support safe and efficient imaging procedures. On-the-job training is provided to ensure you are confident working within a diagnostic imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide patient assessment and nursing care within the imaging clinic
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Apply clinical judgement and critical thinking to support patient safety
- Manage and prioritise daily tasks efficiently
- Assist with imaging procedures and patient preparation
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality
About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated nurse who thrives in a team environment and values high standards of patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (without restrictions)
- Minimum two years of general nursing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and decision-making abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
- Peripheral IV cannulation skills (desirable – training available)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
