Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse
Daily Care Coordination
Manage and oversee the day-to-day clinical needs of residents, ensuring consistency, safety, and comfort.
Clinical Excellence
Provide evidence-based nursing care through assessments, interventions, and continuous monitoring.
Relationship Building
Develop strong, meaningful connections with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Team Leadership
Support, coach, and inspire team members to deliver exceptional aged care services.
What You Bring to the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who combines clinical knowledge with genuine empathy.
Essential Requirements
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability in time management and clinical decision-making
- Experience with clinical systems and documentation
Desirable Skills
- InterRAI assessment experience (preferred but not essential)
- Leadership or mentoring experience in a healthcare setting
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and nights
Salary, Schedule & Benefits
Competitive Compensation
- Hourly rate: $37.38 – $53.22, based on experience
- Minimum 32 hours per week
Work Schedule
- Fortnightly roster
- Includes weekend and night shifts
