Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse

Daily Care Coordination

Manage and oversee the day-to-day clinical needs of residents, ensuring consistency, safety, and comfort.

Clinical Excellence

Provide evidence-based nursing care through assessments, interventions, and continuous monitoring.

Relationship Building

Develop strong, meaningful connections with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

What You Bring to the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who combines clinical knowledge with genuine empathy.

Essential Requirements

  • Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability in time management and clinical decision-making
  • Experience with clinical systems and documentation

Desirable Skills

  • InterRAI assessment experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Leadership or mentoring experience in a healthcare setting
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and nights

Salary, Schedule & Benefits

Competitive Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $37.38 – $53.22, based on experience
  • Minimum 32 hours per week

Work Schedule

  • Fortnightly roster
  • Includes weekend and night shifts
