About the Role
Position: Registered Nurse – Auckland Intensive
Location: Ranui, West Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts
Work Setting: On-site, intensive neurorehabilitation facility
This position involves working with clients who have complex cognitive and medical needs following traumatic or acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a specialist neurorehabilitation setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and medical professionals
- Support clients and their families/whānau throughout the rehabilitation journey
- Contribute to personalised rehabilitation plans addressing physical, cognitive, and spiritual wellbeing
- Monitor and manage complex clinical needs
The role requires both clinical confidence and a genuine commitment to patient-centred rehabilitation care.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills
Preferred Experience
- Brain injury rehabilitation
- Neurology or stroke care
- Acute or complex medical nursing
- Multidisciplinary healthcare environments
If you bring strong foundational nursing skills and an interest in neurorehabilitation, comprehensive specialty training will be provided.
