Job Description

St Vincent’s Lismore is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses with experience in Day Surgery, Recovery (PACU), and Anaesthetics.

This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and prefer no night shifts while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality perioperative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to day surgery and short-stay patients
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and patient education
  • Monitor patient recovery and escalate clinical concerns when required
  • Collaborate with medical, anaesthetic, and allied health teams
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

About You

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated nurse who is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Day Surgery, PACU, Short Stay, or Acute Care (preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-turnover environment
  • Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and quality care
  • Full, permanent work rights in Australia
