Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations and treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians
  • Assess patients to determine appropriate nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Provide patient education, supportive counseling, and life skills programs
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment safely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff when required
  • Conduct disease screening and preventive care initiatives

Required Credentials and Certifications

  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in your province/territory
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification

Experience and Specializations

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Experience in palliative care, pediatrics, or surgery
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
