Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations and treatments
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Assess patients and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Dispense medications and administer treatments as prescribed
- Conduct disease screening and deliver health education programs
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other support staff
- Operate and monitor medical equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Provide counselling and support for patients and families
Qualifications & Certifications
- Eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Canada
- Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificates
- Diploma or certificate in nursing or other recognized healthcare programs
- 1–2 years of experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
