About the Progressive Care Nurse Role
As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients who require close monitoring but not intensive care. Working in a step-down unit, you’ll bridge the gap between ICU and general care, making critical decisions that directly impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
- Monitor and assess patients with complex conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on recovery and care plans
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience
