Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate care for oncology and hematology patients using the nursing process.
- Perform blood draws, lab work support, and other clinical procedures with precision and empathy.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, results, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support collaborative communication among multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, accurate results.
Qualifications & Credentials
- Education: BSN (ACEN or CCNE accredited) with 1+ year of relevant experience or ASN with 1+ year experience.
- License: Current Florida RN License required.
- Certifications: BLS Certification required.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in a high-volume blood draw clinic or oncology setting.
