About the Role
As a Night Nurse in a care home, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring residents’ health, dignity, and wellbeing are maintained throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ health and social care needs and deliver appropriate care
- Develop, review, and maintain person-centred care plans
- Administer medications in line with NMC guidelines and company policies
- Monitor residents’ conditions and respond to clinical changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and care records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Supervise and support junior staff members
- Attend mandatory training and contribute to continuous improvement

Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
- Strong understanding of clinical care and patient safety
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional approach
