Job Description

The Department of Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Level 4 to join the Alcohol and Other Drugs Services team in Darwin. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialised clinical environment supporting individuals with complex health needs.

About the Role

As a Nurse Level 4, you will provide advanced clinical care to clients with complex presentations within the alcohol and other drugs specialty. You will play a key role in coordinating care, supporting clinical decision-making, and mentoring less experienced nursing and midwifery staff.

This position involves both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to treatment and recovery.

Essential Requirements

  • Registration as a Nurse with relevant professional authority

Postgraduate Qualification Requirement

A postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty area is required for ongoing appointment.

Applicants who do not currently hold this qualification may still be considered and appointed on a fixed-term basis, with the expectation of completing the qualification during the contract period.
