About RI-MUHC
The RI-MUHC is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Role Overview – Nurse at RI-MUHC
As a Nurse within the Personalized Transplant Care Research Program, you will play a critical role in participant recruitment, trial coordination, and clinical follow-ups. This position ensures patient safety, maintains study integrity, and enhances participant engagement in line with RI-MUHC protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participant Recruitment & Screening: Assess eligibility, conduct pre-screenings, and coordinate informed consent discussions.
- Study Visit Coordination: Schedule, conduct, and document study visits per protocol.
- Data & Sample Collection: Collect clinical data, biospecimens, and accurately maintain electronic records using systems like REDCap.
- Participant Engagement: Maintain communication with participants for reminders, health updates, and study support.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP standards, institutional policies, and RI-MUHC SOPs.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with investigators, trial nurses, lab personnel, and coordinators to support study objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Prepare for audits and monitoring visits, implement corrective actions, and maintain documentation accuracy.
- Training & Onboarding: Support study initiation, train new staff, and provide guidance on SOPs and protocols.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Nursing or BScN/BNI
- Registered Nurse in good standing with OIIQ certification
- 2–3 years of relevant nursing experience
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Experience with clinical software systems (e.g., REDCap, Medvisit, OACIS)

Compensation & Work Details
- Status: Temporary, full-time (35 hours/week)
- Pay Scale: $44,408 – $103,412 annually, commensurate with experience
- Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Work Location: GLEN Site, 1001 boul. Décarie, Montreal, QC
