About the Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary store team, you will provide a range of in-store healthcare services, supporting patients with preventative care, vaccinations, and health advice.
Core Services You’ll Deliver
- Travel vaccinations and health advice
- Hypertension monitoring and support
- Chickenpox and COVID-19 vaccinations
- HPV, Shingles, Hepatitis B, and Meningitis vaccinations
You’ll ensure every patient receives safe, personalised, and patient-centred care in a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of clinical services within in-store consultation rooms
- Ensure compliance with all legal, clinical, and professional standards
- Provide holistic healthcare advice tailored to individual needs
- Continuously upskill to support new and evolving healthcare services
- Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)
- Use patient feedback to enhance service quality and experience
- Support and mentor new nurses, including remote onboarding where required
- Promote healthcare services within the local community
What You’ll Need (Essential Requirements)
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
- Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience
- Strong clinical background with a focus on patient safety
- Understanding of RCN standards, ethics, and professional conduct
- Ability to make confident clinical decisions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering community-based healthcare services
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Qualification as a Nurse Independent Prescriber
- Experience in primary care or community healthcare settings
- Interest in health promotion and preventative care
