Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents’ wellbeing and daily comfort. Working closely with our Registered Nurses and healthcare team, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering Personalised Care

Provide respectful personal care and daily living support to residents while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Building Meaningful Connections

Develop positive relationships with residents, their families, and fellow team members, helping create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Supporting Health and Safety Standards

Follow established clinical care procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living space.

Enhancing Quality of Life

Assist residents in maintaining routines, participating in activities, and feeling connected within the community.

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

We value both professional skills and the human qualities that make great caregivers.

To succeed as a Healthcare Assistant, you should have:

  • At least one year of caregiving or healthcare support experience
  • Genuine compassion and empathy for older adults
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible approach to working rotating shifts, including weekends and nights
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality resident care

Experience in elderly care, residential care, patient support, or nursing assistance will be highly valued.
