About the Graduate Registered Nurse Role
As a graduate registered nurse, you will work within a community healthcare setting, visiting patients in their homes and delivering professional nursing care. The role focuses on improving patient wellbeing, supporting recovery, and empowering individuals to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and specialist clinical support to patients in their homes
- Conduct patient health assessments and develop care plans
- Support patients through education, recovery, and ongoing monitoring
- Build strong relationships with GP practices and healthcare professionals
- Manage patient cases from initial assessment to recovery

Required Qualifications
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) or in the process of obtaining one
- Registered Nurse qualification recognized in New Zealand
- Eligibility to legally work in New Zealand
- Valid New Zealand driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
Preferred Skills
- Interest in wound management, including complex wounds and burns
- Knowledge or interest in catheter care and community health services
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A caring, empathetic approach to patient care
