About the Role

As part of the SJG Murdoch Hospital team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

Enrolled Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Maintain and develop clinical skills aligned with scope of practice
  • Support patient education and discharge planning
  • Advocate for patients and uphold their rights
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Follow hospital policies, procedures, and care standards

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments
  • Provide patient education and clinical guidance
  • Supervise and mentor staff and students
  • Contribute to operational and clinical service goals

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • A strong commitment to patient-centred care and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience (preferred)
  • Postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded)

Salary Range:

  • Enrolled Nurse: $72,637 – $94,929 (pro rata)
  • Enrolled Nurse Casual: $45.80 – $59.85 per hour
  • Registered Nurse: $82,945 – $106,630 (pro rata)
  • Registered Nurse Casual: $52.30 – $67.24 per hour
    • 12% superannuation
