About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse in Outpatient and Specialty Clinics, you will work across a broad range of clinical areas, ensuring smooth patient flow and safe, effective service delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with medical officers, allied health professionals, and nursing teams to deliver coordinated and patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight of triage processes and Smart Referrals to ensure timely access to care
  • Coordinate patient allocation and support efficient outpatient clinic operations
  • Support and enhance Telehealth services, enabling accessible virtual care delivery
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, contributing to shift coordination and team development
  • Deliver culturally appropriate, patient-centred care across diverse communities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes

About You

You are a confident and adaptable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. You bring strong clinical judgement, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering culturally respectful care in regional and remote communities.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in nursing with current registration
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements, including Criminal History checks
  • Evidence of vaccination or immunity (Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis)
  • Willingness to undertake a probationary period
