Role Overview: Clinic RN

As a Clinic RN, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You’ll work closely with physicians, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination and positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient health status
  • Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Respond to emergencies, including initiating CPR when necessary

Care Coordination & Communication

  • Perform telephone triage and communicate critical findings to providers
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans with the healthcare team
  • Ensure smooth transitions of care across services
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management

Clinic Operations & Quality Improvement

  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
  • Support efficient clinic operations and workflow
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for a Clinic RN who combines clinical excellence with compassion and professionalism.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Alabama RN License or Multi-State RN License (NLC compliant)
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication
  • Ability to work in a dynamic outpatient clinic environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Work Schedule & Benefits Eligibility

  • Full-time, on-site role
  • Benefits available for employees working 20+ hours per week (0.50 FTE or higher)
