Clinic RN Responsibilities
Delivering High-Quality Outpatient Nursing Care
In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across a variety of clinical settings. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and monitor patient health status
- Perform telephone triage and coordinate timely interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Respond to emergencies, including initiating CPR and critical care protocols
Care Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop personalized care plans
- Ensure smooth patient transitions across care settings
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
Operational Excellence
- Prepare and maintain clinic rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR documentation)
- Support workflow efficiency in busy ambulatory care environments
Quality & Growth
- Participate in patient safety initiatives and process improvements
- Stay updated with the latest practices in clinical nursing and healthcare delivery
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
Qualifications for Clinic RN Role
To succeed in this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Alabama RN license or Multi-State RN License (NLC)
- Strong clinical skills in primary care nursing or outpatient settings
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient engagement abilities
Work Schedule & Eligibility
- Full-time, on-site position in Mobile, AL
- Employees working 20+ hours per week (0.50 FTE or higher) are eligible for benefits
