What Your Day Will Look Like
As an Enrolled Nurse at Darling Downs Health, you will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of patients through hands-on clinical care and collaborative teamwork.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with clinical assessments and care planning under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Providing delegated nursing care to support patients’ health, recovery, and daily needs
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a patient’s health status or functional ability
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using specialised healthcare systems
- Promoting safe practices and identifying potential risks within the clinical environment
- Participating in incident reporting and quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting and guiding less experienced staff members
- Engaging in reflective practice and ongoing professional development
