The Department of Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit team in Alice Springs. Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the successful candidate will use advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills to support patients, families, and the wider community.
About the Role
In this position, you will apply advanced nursing or midwifery expertise within a specialised clinical setting. The role focuses on delivering safe, patient-centred care while building therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, and community members.
You will play an important role in supporting clinical decision-making, maintaining high standards of care, and contributing to positive patient outcomes within the Intensive Care Unit.

A postgraduate qualification in the relevant clinical area is required for ongoing appointment to this role. However, applicants who do not currently hold the qualification may still be considered.
If the most suitable candidate does not have the required qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed-term basis, with ongoing employment subject to completing the qualification during that period.

- Remuneration Package: $131,100 – $139,950
- Base Salary: $111,174 – $119,984
