Established in 2003, Whanganui Accident and Medical was created to enhance access to primary healthcare and after-hours medical services for local residents.

A Community-Driven Model of Care

Located beside the Emergency Department at Whanganui Hospital, WAM operates as a convenient “one-stop” healthcare centre, helping patients receive the right care without unnecessary delays.

Operating Hours:
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week, including public holidays.

Registered Nurse Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
