About the Role: Community Staff Nurse
The Community Staff Nurse position is a full-time, fixed-term role until 20 October 2026, based in Helensburgh. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in community settings.
Your role will focus on supporting individuals, families, and carers through structured care programs designed to improve outcomes and reduce hospital admissions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Community Staff Nurse, you will:
- Deliver planned nursing care to patients in their homes and community settings
- Support early discharge from hospital and prevent unnecessary admissions
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and care teams
- Provide guidance and support to families and carers
- Promote patient independence and long-term wellbeing

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community visits)
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in community nursing or district nursing
- Confidence in delivering home healthcare services
