Community Staff Nurse
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Band 5 Community Nurse to join the Nairn & Ardersier Community Nursing Team. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within the community setting.
You will work flexibly across a 7-day rota to meet service needs, supporting patients in their homes and collaborating with a wide range of healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of patient caseloads, delivering safe and effective community-based care
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred nursing care in line with best practice
- Contribute to care planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards
- Promote an integrated approach to healthcare delivery within the community
Skills & Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid UK NMC registration
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience or willingness to work in a community or multi-agency environment
- High level of professionalism and adaptability
Working Pattern
- Flexible working across a 7-day rota
- Community-based role requiring travel
