As a Band C Nurse, you will provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care to children and young people with complex needs. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic, family-centred care that prioritises comfort, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Specialist Care
- Provide high-quality paediatric palliative care and end-of-life support
- Deliver holistic care tailored to each child’s physical, emotional, and social needs
- Support families with compassion, guidance, and reassurance
Clinical Excellence
- Maintain the highest standards of nursing care and safety
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure coordinated support
- Monitor and respond to complex clinical needs
Communication & Family Support
- Build trusting relationships with children and their families
- Communicate sensitively during emotionally challenging situations
- Ensure families feel supported, informed, and involved in care decisions
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing training and development programmes
- Continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Act as a role model within the team
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (Adult or Children’s) with paediatric experience
- Strong understanding of children’s palliative care and complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team and lead when required
