About the Role

As a Staff Nurse in an NHS hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including dementia and complex frailty needs.

Ward 12 is a 38-bed older persons’ medicine ward, designed to support patients requiring specialist, compassionate, and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care
  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care
  • Take charge of the ward when required and support team coordination
  • Monitor and maintain high clinical standards and patient safety
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Actively contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and patient experience
