Job Description
St Vincent’s Lismore is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses with experience in Day Surgery, Recovery (PACU), and Anaesthetics.
This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and prefer no night shifts while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality perioperative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to day surgery and short-stay patients
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and patient education
- Monitor patient recovery and escalate clinical concerns when required
- Collaborate with medical, anaesthetic, and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
About You
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated nurse who is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Day Surgery, PACU, Short Stay, or Acute Care (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-turnover environment
- Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and quality care
- Full, permanent work rights in Australia
