About the Role: Registered Nurse (Community Health)
We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team serving the Elizabeth Métis Settlement and surrounding regions near Bonnyville. Reporting to senior healthcare leaders, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic and preventative care across rural and remote communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care to individuals, families, and communities
- Conduct health assessments, care planning, and evaluations
- Deliver health education and preventative care programs

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active or eligible registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in public health nursing or home care nursing
- Ability to deliver culturally sensitive care and respect Indigenous healing practices
- Willingness to travel to rural and remote communities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) tools
- Knowledge of Indigenous languages (an asset)
- Physical ability to meet job demands in community settings
