About the Role
As a Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play a key role in delivering specialised critical care to patients experiencing life-threatening conditions.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will contribute to comprehensive treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide essential support to patients and their families during highly acute situations.
This position offers an opportunity to strengthen your critical care nursing skills while working within one of Victoria’s largest regional health services.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver advanced patient-centred care to critically ill and ventilated patients
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and continuous haemodynamic monitoring
- Identify and respond quickly to patient deterioration or emergency situations
- Safely administer complex medications and specialised therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate patient care plans
- Provide clear communication and emotional support to patients and their families
- Contribute to clinical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care (essential)
- Proven experience working in ICU or critical care settings
- Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving ability
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and resilience under pressure
