Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients
  • Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
  • Administer medications and perform clinical procedures safely
  • Support patients and families with clear communication and guidance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective care and discharge planning
  • Supervise junior staff, students, and healthcare assistants when required
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care
  • Promote a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Recent experience in an acute clinical setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Competence in key clinical procedures (IV therapy, ECG, catheterisation, etc.)

Desirable:

  • Experience in Acute Medical Admissions, Emergency Department, or SDEC
  • Teaching, mentoring, or leadership experience

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and decision-making abilities
  • Basic IT skills with willingness to learn clinical systems
