What Does a Registered Nurse Do?
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care. You’ll work within established clinical standards and healthcare regulations while contributing to a culture of excellence and accountability.

Required Qualifications
Core Certifications & Skills
To succeed in this Registered Nurse job, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
- Strong computer literacy in healthcare systems
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Preferred Education & Specialized Training
Candidates with additional certifications or post-diploma education will stand out:
- Peri-anesthesia certification
- Training in arrhythmia interpretation and ECG (12-lead)
- Patient assessment and respiratory care courses
- Perioperative nursing education
- Strong foundation in clinical decision-making
Experience Requirements
What Makes You a Strong Candidate?
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in Endoscopy
- Proven background in surgical nursing
- Experience in critical care or emergency nursing
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
- Strong track record of positive performance and teamwork
