About IDART
A Collaborative, Community-Based Service
IDART is a multi-disciplinary health and social care team providing seamless, person-centred support for individuals experiencing drug and/or alcohol-related challenges.

Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As part of the IDART team, you will play a key role in delivering specialist care and supporting individuals through recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with substance use needs
- Deliver motivational and recovery-focused interventions
- Administer treatments such as Buvidal (buprenorphine injection therapy)
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
- Liaise with social work, primary care, and residential services
- Promote harm reduction and patient safety at every stage of care
You will contribute to both Tier 3 and Tier 4 services, supporting individuals with complex needs.

We’re seeking a nurse who is passionate about recovery-based care and committed to making a positive impact.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
(Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA, or Sub-part 2: RN2) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A patient-focused and compassionate approach

- Hours: 36 hours per week
